Staying in touch with friends

Tuesday was an interesting night. I met up with my friend Ramin who I have not seen in two years. He is a successful real state man who lives in Brentwood. We started the evening by heading out to dinner. Since I am a fan of kabobs we decided to eat at Shahrzad restaurant. In my opinion this place has the most delicious Persian Cuisine.
Ramin is someone who I have known for seven years. He is a genuine person who has a great sense of humor. For the past two years he had been involve with someone who did not allowed him to keep in touch with his friends. Specially "girl" friends, of course, during this period of time I was excluded from his life. Regardless the basic friendship we had for one another. He was too in love with his girlfriend to refuse. Unfortunately they broke up about a month ago and he just wanted to meet up to say sorry and vent on his frustration. He said he was miserable the whole time due to his demanding lady. Breaking up with her was the best thing that had ever happen to him in two years. Personally I never had anything against him. Is not the first time this happens to me. Life goes on whether I have one friend or 100 friends. I am just happy to be part of his life again.
